What is a transaction ID ?

Modified on Fri, 17 Feb 2023 at 02:10 AM

A transaction ID or TxID is an identification code for your specific cryptocurrency transactions. Each code is unique and different.

Example: 0xb1106ee6cf903df1f26f802ed38ae8945a48afdd7067491111006151894a5c5f

With TxID, you can track the progress and confirmation of your transactions in the blockchain.

  • When a withdrawal is successful, you can access your transaction ID via the "History" function on the Bitkub website and application. You can also find your TxID in the withdrawal confirmation email and blockchain explorers such as https://etherscan.io (Ethereum), https://bscscan.com/ (Binance Smart Chain), and https://bkcscan.com (Bitkub Chain), etc.
  • Transaction Hash (Tx Hash) or Txn Hash are common alternative terms that refer to TxID used among different platforms. Some of the examples are as below:

    On Bitkub platform

    • Tx ID (Transaction ID)
  • On bkcscan

    • Transaction Hash
  • On bscscan and etherscan

    • Transaction Hash
    • Txn Hash
  • If the transfer has been successful for a while, but you have not received your cryptocurrency, you can contact Bitkub Support and provide your transaction ID for our team to check.
  • In some cases, you may be asked for your TxnID, which is different from TxID. The TxnID refers to both cryptocurrency and Thai Baht transactions, and has a specific format, for example, THBWD0004428732 and KUB0001737412
  • You can find your TxnID in every withdrawal confirmation email.
